Information

There are many ways you can help make this event great! Volunteer positions will be listed here and more will be added as the event approaches, so please check back to see what's available.

For now, if you would like to help, please contact the autocrat, Emma Barrington, at emmabarrington1@aol.com.

Heraldry Volunteers

Anyone interested in helping in the following heraldry-related areas, please contact Esclarmonde at Snail_Or@msn.com.

Herald's Point Staff: No heraldry experience needed! No loud voice needed, either! We would be delighted to have you take a shift at herald's point. All you need to do is take messages for the town cry, and during parts of the event, keep an eye on the heraldry contest display.

Town Cry: Assistance is desired in making announcements to our guests. Town cries will be on a schedule; just come to herald's point at your pre-arranged time and pick up the announcements. No waiting around to see if you're needed! No experience needed, just a loud voice.

Heralds for Heavy Fighters: As at last years "A Celebration of Chivalry," heavy fighters will be instructed to bring a herald to present them to our Royal Patrons before combat begins. If it is negotiated with the fighter, the herald may also serve as scorekeeper for the combatant during the tournament. Fighters are directed to bring their own heralds, but we would like some "spare" heralds available for fighters who, for whatever reason, are without one. No heraldry experience needed; "cheat notes" will be provided for the presentation ceremony.

Rapier Tournament Field Heraldry: A rapier tournament is planned and will require field heraldry.

Music Volunteers

Attention all Musicians from far & near!

If you have ever wanted to play and play and play music - here is your chance with a great audience! We are in need for a group or groups to play at different times throughout Saturday. One time is during our Feast, for light background music. Another is during the Saturday Evening Dance. To prep for the dance, we would like to hold dance classes and would love to have live music there as well.

Or if you just want to play casually during the day on Saturday & Sunday, please stop by and check out our Bards' Point. It is a great way to get a chance to talk and play with other musicians (from novice to experienced) and also chat with other people throughout the Kingdom!

If you are interested or would like more information, please contact Lord Tristan Fiddler, Music Coordinator, louielewie@netzero.net.
