The site for this event is Riverglenn Farms, 14715 South Fork Rd E, Orting, WA 98360 (Map of the Orting area), a site very familiar to many in the western region of the kingdom, and is located near Orting WA. The site opens at 1pm on Friday for merchants, 3pm for general populace, and closes at 5pm on Sunday.
There is potable water (city water service) on site. Here is a list of local services that might be useful, such as grocery stores, auto repair, etc.
Site Rules:
In addition to the requirements of all participants at SCA events, the following site specific rules will be in force:
- Pack your trash out with you, and please do not use the biffies as your trash can. A trash sack will be provided you when you check in at gate. If you need more later, they can be obtained at gate, or by contacting one of the Event Team.
- Pets must be leashed or tethered at all times. You must clean up after your pet(s). Horses are not allowed, and "exotic" pets should be cleared with the autocrat before attending.
- Fires are allowed in site provided fire pits or in guest provided above-ground fire pits (these need at least a one-foot clearance above the grass). Please have water buckets and fire extinguishers readily available when a fire is lit. Do not leave any fires unattended! Fire rules may change as conditions demand.
- Quiet hours are from 11:00 p.m. until 8:00 a.m.
- There is a river that runs alongside the site. The river is off-limits! Please mind your young ones.
- Parking is strictly limited to the upper area unless a good excuse can be given to the autocrat.
Directions:
From the North: Take SR167 south to the SR410 exit. Take SR410 to the Orting-SR162 exit. Turn right onto Highway 162 south towards Orting. The entrance to Riverglenn is approximately 4 1/2 miles from the SR410 - SR162 interchange, a little past Macmillan Industrial Park. The entrance is a poorly marked paved/dirt road on the right just before the Puyallup river bridge. If you cross the bridge over the river, you've gone too far! Signs will be posted from the SR410-SR162 interchange.
From the South: Take I-5 to SR 512. Follow SR512 to the merge with SR167 north, stay to the right following SR167 a short distance to the exit to SR410. Take SR410 to the Orting-SR162 exit. Turn right onto Highway 162 south towards Orting. The entrance to Riverglenn is approximately 4 1/2 miles from the SR410 - SR162 interchange, a little past Macmillan Industrial Park.
