London Masters Tourney:

A standard type of tourney with the minor exception that the fighters must fight with a different rapier combination (open hand, dagger, buckler, baton, cloak, and case if authorized) each round and not repeat the combination until after the 5th round. Equipment is available to borrow for those lacking all of the combination of off-hand parrying devices.

Rapier Accolade Prize Tourney:

Have you wanted a period doublet and pants to make an impression at the Queen's Rapier Championship but just don't have the skill, time, or money? Perhaps, you have wanted a new gown with embellishments such as lace or pearls?

This is the tourney to be in! The Grand Prize in this tourney is a custom made outfit of the winner's design to be made by the very talented and recently raised Laurel, Maitress Melusine d'Argent, who is also cadet to Monseigneur Sebastien de Caen. If you had been at this last Kingdom A&S, you would have seen the extravagance that her skills can do as she presented a gaggle of cavaliers. If you had not had that wonderfully bright opportunity to see her work, perhaps if you have spotted the Kingdom Bardic Champion: Monseigneur Giuseppe Giordano Maria Falconieri, then you have most likely seen Maitress Melusine's handywork.

All clothing made by Maitress Melusine.

The accolade tourney allows you to fight everyone as much as you like and then vote at the end on who was your favorite fight.

So if you wish to have the skilled hands of Maitress Melusine available to craft new garb for you then enter the tournament and fight well, with honor, and most of all enjoyment.

Rapier Melee Scenarios:

Help to defend the shire's sheep!

All scenarios fought to the last person standing.

1) Build your own army. All fighters begin fighting one on one. Loser joins winner to fight another pair. Losing pair joins winning pair to make a quartet who then goes on to challenge another quartet, etc. No Rubber Band Guns (RBG's) allowed in this scenario.

2) Gather the flock. The Shire of Wyewood's flock of sheep has been wandering the hillsides with a heavy winter coat and is now ready for sheering back at the farmhouse. Both teams are trying to gather up the sheep and escort back to the farmhouse. 1 point for the team with the most number of sheep. No off-hand parries allowed with sheep as they will be considered killed and no longer of use. RBG's allowed if authorized to use them. Bucklers are good for a single shot only against Rubber Band shots before becoming useless for parrying.

3) Escort the wool to market. The team with the most sheep in the previous scenario needs to escort a single representative sheep (representing the load of wool) to the market. The other team is trying to capture the sheep. 1 point for the team to make it to market or capture the sheep. RBG's same as previous scenario.

4) Escort the wool to the weaver. The second team is now escorting and the first team is attempting to steal the wool for themselves. 1 point for the team to make it to market or capture the wool. RBG's same as previous scenario.

5) Refuge in town. One of the teams has taken up refuge inside a building until help can arrive. Defend the wool. 1 point for the team that wins the fight. RBG's same as previous scenario.

6) Other team's refuge in town. The second team has taken up refuge inside a building in town and is waiting until nightfall to make their escape. Defend the wool. 1 point for the team that wins the fight. RBG's same as previous scenario.

The team with the most points wins the Rapier Melee Combat.
