The Razanne doll <a href=\"http:\/\/www.noorart.com\/product193.html\" target=\"NewWindow\">wears hijab<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.noorart.com\/product109.html\" target=\"NewWindow\">celebrates Eid Mubarak<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.noorart.com\/product110.html\" target=\"NewWindow\">participates in Muslim Scouts<\/a>. (It&#8217;s unfortunate that the doll itself is not very appealing; it looks like those cheap pseudo-Barbies you see at dollar stores. But some of the outfits are nice.) Other Islamic alternatives to Ken and Barbie are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.islamfortoday.com\/iran02.htm\" target=\"NewWindow\">Dara and Sara<\/a>, from Iran. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.loper.org\/~george\/trends\/2001\/Mar\/26.html\" target=\"NewWindow\">Muslims aren&#8217;t the only ones who want more modest dolls, though<\/a>. Monica Garcia, an Orthodox Jew, founded <a href=\"http:\/\/www.msmodesty.com\/\" target=\"NewWindow\">Ms. Modesty<\/a> to sell modest clothing for fashion dolls. All the Ms. Modesty outfits <a href=\"http:\/\/msmodesty.com\/cgi-local\/SoftCart.10.exe\/online-store\/scstore\/p-J-PINK.html?L+scstore+kbmr1564ffafbaaf+1066854771\" target=\"NewWindow\">cover the knees, elbows and collarbones<\/a>.
