Each chapter has exercises for you to complete. Please do these exercises as you are reading the chapters. If you do this, you'll find that it is much easier to learn and remember. Whenever you see HTML code demonstrated on the pages, you should try out the code for yourself. If you just read about it, it won't stick in your memory. Trying to do the examples will make the learning process easier. For this reason, you should always read the chapters for the first time while at your computer, so you can try the examples and exercises. Why is the text narrow?If you have a high resolution monitor, or a very large window for your browser, the text here might seem a little narrow. This is to make it easier to read.
