The Knighting of Sir Edward Cire of Greymoor

King Chepe prepares to dub Cire.

Since King Chepe was not yet himself a knight, Sir Ternon also held the sword for the dubbing. They dub Cire on the left shoulder with the words, "May your shield ever be raised in the defense of the innocent and virtuous."

"May your sword ever strike the unjust and ignoble."

"And may your eyes clearly see the difference."
