Bushfish

Via Proof Through the Night: the Bush Fish magnet. My jaw drops at this; it really does. This would be highly offensive to me if I were still in the church I grew up in. From my non-religious and very non-Republican perspective now, it’s just… ridiculous.

    Barfmaking.

    I described it to my landlord, and he said it sounded like it looked like a bomb.

    And you know what’s too bad? To an outsider like me, the fish sign was always a nicer symbol of that religion than the cross, since it comemmorated a philosophy rather than a grisly death.

    I grew up a good Christian, attending Sunday school, learning about Jesus’ love, etc. I seem to have lost my faith along the way, and sometimes I wonder why. Then I see something like this and think, “Oh yes. Crazy Christians who think Jesus sent George W.” FREAKS.
