And re that cover — omg that is stupid. Sometimes I just have to wonder what they are smoking at the DC offices.
Is it weird that when you said “That cover came out a decade ago, I immediately read that as “cover song“?

Remember, Hitman was just that, a guy who killed for money. It was written by Garth Ennis and I loved the whole series dearly. It also had the superhero crew Section Eight, which included Friendly Fire, SixPack and that most sublimely dada comic book hero, Dogwelder! Yup, this fellow’s means of attack was to weld dogs onto his target.
NightFist turned out to be a bad guy posing as a hero.
