Research shows that most people can’t tell the difference between caffeinated and caffeine-free colas. Yet cola companies claim that they add caffeine for flavoring. A scientist in this article compares cola companies’ use of caffeine to cigarette companies’ use of nicotine. Is the mild amount of caffeine in colas really that addictive? I don’t think so. I was in Nebraska this week for the US Roller Skating championships. The results of my event are at the top of this page. I was in the JO Women’s In-line 1B Singles Final, but unfortunately I finished fifth, and they only list the top four, so my name isn’t listed on the page.?
