It's the end of the year, and time to clean out the old guestbook entries. Happy holidays, everyone!
Hey, everyone... I'm getting married today. Yup. Wow. Only 15 hours to go...
You're not going to have any of us at the wedding if the snow doesn't go away....
Nice site you've designed. That is a really beautiful house. I got to your site when I was surfing seanet. I work @ digital equipement Canada in Hull Quebec just outside the Nations Capital Ottawa. I'm in technical support and a great proponent of the Alpha chip. To bad no one can afford it!! I also run my own Photo business as I was a Proffesional for about ten years before I decided to catch the wave. I would really like to visit Seattle some day. My problem is every time I'm in B.C. I'm always so darn busy. Oh well one of these days. If you and your husband are ever in the Ottawa area drop me a line and my wife and I will show you the town. Whatever you do don't come in winter unless you love the brutal cold.
Happy New Year EH!!
Sincerely
Rick

Hello, just passing through also. Read the notes and thought I'd write a few lines. Live in northeastern Minnesota, nice and cold and loads of snow! We do enjoy it, that is why we are here. I love my computer but do have some trouble down loading things... does life have to be soooo hard? I am a nurse and am married for 25 yrs!!!! So wanted to wish you the same love and happiness we have had. Enjoy, Gail
Wendi- Wow! I'm new to the net and found this page through Alta Vista's linguistics search, which led me to ??, then to a site w/linguists on it, then to someone else, then Spamily... My boyfriend and his roommate tell me yes, I am indeed surfing. It's wonderful to see smart women who are so web-literate. Thanks for the inspiration!
Wendy, thanks for the wonderful site!! Especially the posies page. The little bit written by Ken made me a little sad, but thanks for putting it in anyway. I am a student at TESC in olympia. GO GEODUCKS!! Keep up the awesome work!! CF
I've recently subscribed to the Poprocks mailing list and found your website on one of your posts. Come visit my site sometime and sign my guestbook! I spent my childhood in Seattle. What a great place it was then (1958-1965). I moved to Santa Rosa, CA when I was 12. I visit up north at least once a year. I still like it, but there are so many more people than when I was there. Also, there were no freeways back then! I used to get up on Saturdays in winter and catch a bus at the Floating Bridge to go skiing at Snoqualmie. It used to take us 2 hours to get there! Wow, now it takes about 45 minutes. Oh well, I'm rambling again. Thanks for the posts. Craig Wiper craigw@sonic.net http://www.sonic.net/~craigw
Nice site and nice working with you.
Sincerely

Kewl Site, Wendi!, Congrats and all that!
After last nights a.s.b.s-m "Outing" I just had to stop by your website. I haven't looked around yet, though. Front page looks nice. Go M's!!

Hi Wendi,
I've never been to Seattle, but the photos on your site make
me think I probably should. The consulting company I'm
working for at the moment is assisting in the development of
the Experience Music Project (soon to be built next to the
Space Needle, I believe), so maybe I will be out that way
someday... but for now I am stuck behind a desk in Toronto,
Canada. Aside from the music connections, my only other acquaintance
with Seattle is an old NIGHT STALKER episode (you remember
Darrin McGavin and his old Mustang -- "Carl Kolchak"?) set
in the literally 'underground' Seattle of old -- the same
actor who played Oscar Goldman in the SIX MILLION DOLLAR
MAN portrayed this deranged fellow who was trying to
regenerate himself...
I think I watched far too much television as a child.
Nice site. You can check out my own at:

Just dropped in while viewing pictures of Seattle....my old stomping grounds (as you may tell by my Email.....If you haven't been to Kells 1916 Post Alley, stop and say hello from Murphy of Minnesota)
Hope that everyone is staying high and dry in Seattle....I am in FARGO, where we have had 106" of snow this season, and are preparing for floods.
I see you listen to music at the board, Dar Williams....Mortal City or The Honesty Room....are my favorites....try it, you'll like it! %-)

Great website! Very talented. Has it stopped raining in Seatle
yet? ( I lived there as a kid in 1964/5 and remember the wonderful
views of Mt Ranier, when it wasn't raining - worse than
England!)
Hi Wendi, I have spent many hours in your web site and love
it. You are a role model. I jumped a foot when I read your
bio, because I thought I had met you. Then I realized you
are too young. I knew a Wendi that was a singer, songwriter,
played the guitar and had a beautiful voice. She was working
in seattle clubs. Have you run into another Wendi such as
this?
Just lookingfor like spelt people....

Cool site! I found it after eating some rarebit...
I dont know how I got here but I enjoyed your site. Is your band still together? My band Skinwalkers is looking for a new singer and I liked your list of influences. Maybe you know somebody? I'm trying to put together an arts promotion site at http://www.concentric.net/~ambig/ . Why not stop by? One of my close friends is a bif Winsor Mckay fan. He did Gerty the dinosaur as well, didn't he?

What is all this? Freddled gruntbugglies!
Will this madness never end?
I'm going back to my burrow.

Just thought I'd leave an item of interest for the Nathan Hale Alumni. I was among the lucky individuals who were the first to attend Nathan Hale High School in the fall of 1963. I have a lot of great memories of those days in a half completed school (the second story was still under construction and the school yard still had putting greens from the Medowbrook Golf Course which occupied the spot a few months earlier). There was no room for Seniors so we only had Sophmores and Juniors. We still managed to put together a football team and voted to call them the "Raiders". We lost every game that fall of '63 but the school spirit was incredable! I still have my annual from that year (everyone looks like re-runs from the Brady Bunch). My family moved to Yakima in the summer of '64 so I didn't graduate with the first graduating class (class of 66). I'm currently working as an instructor and living in Belfair, Wa. I stumbled upon your site by accident while surfing blind and appreciate the opportunity to reminisce.

Hi Wendy! How's married life?
I just moved to Seattle from Los Angeles, this is such a beautiful city! I was wondering if anyone knew about any good japanese restaurants in town and somehow I ended up here. If anyone knows of a good restaurant, please email me.
Thanks (or a good place to get a haircut or a good doctor..)
Great web page!
