Slumberland Annex

The Annex is the home of a variety of commercial and fine art created by litlnemo, otherwise known as Wendi Dunlap Simpson. Please feel free to browse and enjoy.

Most of my work is for sale, so if there is a piece you like, please let me know. I sometimes put my paintings up for auction at eBay -- check to see if I'm currently auctioning any work.

FAQ

Why is this here?

This is my virtual art gallery. I first put some of my paintings online in 1994. I've shown my work in the real, non-virtual world before, but by showing them here they are accessible to people around the world, at any time, day or night. I think it's neat.

What do the painting titles refer to?

They are mostly song or album titles. They give you a hint what I might have been listening to when I made each artwork. "Kingdoms And Cathedrals" is a phrase from "Flood of Sunshine," by The Posies.

Why the wavy lines in so much of your work?

I honestly don't know. It must be a subconscious thing. I obviously do it in all of my paintings, but I've recently noticed that I do it in other artwork as well -- even some of the metalwork I've done has the wavy line motif. What does this say about me? :-)

How can I purchase or find out more about these works?

E-mail me and I'd be glad to give you all the information you need.
