The Knighting of Sir Edward Cire of Greymoor

King Chepe hands Cire's sword to Sir Ternon to explain the nature of the sword.

"The sword is the weapon of a knight. The first edge cuts to the truth of the matter, for a knight must always seek the truth. The second edge administers the Crown's justice, and is wielded only after the truth has been ascertained. The scabbard counsels mercy, as Crown and Kingdom are ill served without compassion. Thus shall mercy protect truth and justice."

Cire has been relieved of the white tabard and invested with his sword.
